A Fun Weekend at Yanaguana Gardens, San Antonio

The 4.1 acre Yanaguana Gardens is at Hemisfair which is very close to the 750-foot tall attraction 'Tower of Americas' in San Antonio. The entry is not free and it can be visited with the entry ticket for 'Tower of Americas'.Last weekend, 'Our Kids' magazine kicked off their event 'Kidcation Week' in the park making the entry free to the public.
The garden has a variety of play structures to climb, slide and swing. There is a sand pit and Splash pad too, which are perfect for a summer afternoon.

The design of the park is different. There are wooden chairs to relax and a pool deck to have snacks under the shade. The pigeons and other birds roam freely around the park.
I couldn't take many photos of Splash pad, but the kids as well as the adults can chill under these splash pads in hot summer. It will be bright lit in the evening, especially the splash pad which jets sprouts of water with lights is amazing.

So, that was about the fun afternoon on a Saturday.
