Z For Zapata Falls #A2ZChallenge

#Day 26 and the last day of A2Z Blogging Challenge where I am posting some best places to visit in Colorado.

Z For Zapata Falls

Zapata Falls is a 30-feet waterfall located in San Luis Valley near Mosca in Alamosa County. This is an easy 0.9-mile hike.

In Summer, it is a wonderful hike nearby Great Sand dunes. Whereas in Winter, it freezes completely to a giant Ice sculpture.

Many feel that the drive to the falls is awful even though the hike is easy. It is a dirt road and so, it is better to go by a 4wd with high clearance vehicle.

If you visit Great Sand Dunes in Summer, don't forget to add this to your itinerary.

Until next time,

  2. That is very beautiful! For some reason, only the mobile version of your site (with the pink background instead of blue) has a comment box.
