Gratitude List for Jan 2018 #GratitudeCircle

This is my first gratitude post in the new year 2018. This year started with a celebration and brought all happiness to me. I focused more on my dance classes, could read around 4 books and work on usability testing for some websites.

Here are a few things that I am grateful for in January:

1. Happy times with family and friends on the eve of new year.

2.  A celebration of Sankranthi festival and a party with friends.

3. Got time to read more books than ever. I even accepted more books for review in the coming months. All printed copies are less stressful for my eyes.

4. Couldn't do any creative work in January but I got more time to work on my blog.

5. A decision on uninstalling facebook app from my phone. I have decided to use facebook only from the laptop for my blog promotion and important personal updates. No more scrolling of the timeline every few minutes.

6. Started going to the library every weekend and I am grateful to find nice collections to read.

7. This post of mine written for Momspresso reached 50k+ views with around 1.4k likes and 60 comments. That was a whopping response which I didn't expect. I am very grateful that many parents liked my article.

8. A parcel from the hometown with a lot of new dresses and food delicacies.

9. A potluck which I participated in this month with friends.

10. We drove on a snowy day. As a family, we love drives but this drive was completely different as there was a heavy snow on that day and roads were not cleaned yet. Nature was beautiful and I am grateful that we reached home back safe.

That was a wonderful month. I am looking forward to many more happy moments in February. February is always special as there are two important occasions - my son's birthday and our anniversary. So, more celebrations, more family time and more smiles :-)

What are you grateful for? Do let me know in comments.

Until next time,

50,000 views? Congratulations!! You have a lot to be grateful for - I'm grateful for family this month, because my husband and I were able to take a vacation - it may be a while before our next one, and I have a lot of good memories.

  3. Looks like you had a wonderful January. A very wise decision to remove the facebook app. I have one rule, no fb when working.
