V For Vail #A2ZChallenge

#Day 22 of A2Z Blogging Challenge where I am posting some best places to visit in Colorado.

V For Vail

Vail, which is 100 miles away from Denver is a beautiful mountain town at an elevation of 8150 ft above Sea level. This is also the largest ski mountain in Colorado!

The Vail mountain was originally known as 'Shining Mountain'. Riva Ridge Ski trail is one of the longest ski runs in North America with 4 miles.

Even though Vail is popular as a famous Ski resort and a Winter wonderland, there are many activities to enjoy here other than skiing. This place is also famous for Wintersports like Snowmobiling, Snowshoeing, and tubing.

Some of the best places to visit in Vail are: Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Beaver Creek resort, Eagles nest wilderness area, Booth Falls Trail, Vail Scenic Gondola, Top of the Rockies National Scenic Byway and Colorado Ski and Snowboard Museum.

Until next time,
