Dear,
It's been a long time I have written an email or a letter to you. Our lives have changed a lot, we moved continents away from each other.
Talking over the phone once a month also seems tough these days with kids and responsibilities. But, I tell you, I remember you for my every achievement and every disappointment. I remember you when I am depressed and when I have to vent out my frustration on any circumstances or my issues. It feels so nice even to talk to you just for 10 mins. There are no expectations, no egos but only love for each other.
I wonder, even though our lives changed a lot, there is still the same amount of comfort and closeness as it was 10 years ago. Yes, do you remember? our friendship started in 2005. We laughed, cried, roamed together to different places, cities, read books and discussed them, solved each other's issues, shared office politics, lazed around, supported each other and created memories.
I wish, this friendship continues for our life time and we meet very soon for another hearty laugh and a relaxing chat.
Until next time,
I am taking part in The Write Tribe Festival of Words #6.

Today's Prompt - Write a letter
I can relate to your letter as I have been living a life of nomad for almost two decades now! And courtesy this, I have beloved friends who are now in different countries... and how I miss them dearly yet wont get time to check out whats happening with them, owing to busy schedule.
ReplyDeleteLovely read!

True with time you tend to part and stop speaking to each other too, but friends do have that mental connect and even after years when you speak you can do so naturally as if you were speaking on a daily basis- i have some friends like that too

ReplyDeleteI can relate to this. Esp moving continents and not getting enough time to talk. But thanks to whatsapp, a message now and then can do wonders.
ReplyDeleteThis is one letter which you should certainly send via mail/post to your friend.
ReplyDeleteIt's true, time and distance keep us away from our friends but the connect is strong even after months/years of radio silence.
I hope you meet your friend soon :)
ReplyDeleteBest friends are for life. Even if you don't see them for years, the bond stays the same.
ReplyDeleteHey there, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues.
ReplyDeleteWhen I look at your website in Firefox, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, great blog!
